Class: Beginner Crazy Quilt Piecing II (BCQ-II)
This class covers the creation of a 10-inch crazy quilt patchwork block using large fabric scraps. 

The Class is taught in 2 Lessons with breaks in-between.

Lesson One covers the discussion of suitable supplies, consideratons when selecting fabrics for piecing, preparation of fabrics, and cutting fabrics into usable sizes for the class. Students will review fabrics, share as appropriate, and can use some teacher grab-bag fabrics if desirable; and mark the base fabric in preparation of piecing the block.

Lesson Two covers creation of the block using the applique method of machine piecing. Students will complete the piecing of their 10-inch crazy quilt block.

Time and fabrics permitting, more than one block can be created.

Supplies:

One 14-inch square of muslin for backing
Twelve - Twenty scraps of various types of fabrics (each about 8-10 inch square) (Suitable fabrics are: cotton, linen, velvet, overall lace, silk, plyable upholstery fabrics)

Working sewing machine
General sewing supplies (rotary cutter, mat, scisors, thread, pins, etc.)
