Class: Intermediate Crazy Quilt Seam Embellishment Slumber Party
This class covers the basics of embellishing crazy quilt blocks with embroidery motifs, silk ribbon flowers, and clusters of buttons. Because this is a Party...it is less formal, and Kathy shares some of her Easy Breezy techniques for creating motifs. The Class is a series of mini-lessons with breaks in-between. There are games with prizes for the winners! A mini-trunk show and a virtual inspiration quilt show are just part of the fun!

Lesson One covers the creation of an embroidery monogram using simple stitching techniques.

Lesson Two covers the creation of a Fast and Fantastic tree trunk.

Lesson Three covers the creation of beaded critters.

Lesson Four covers the creation of several types of silk ribbon flowers.

Lesson Five covers the creation of a button cluster.

Note:
Extra Security must be taken into consideration since this is a night class. The building must be locked during the evening and early morning hours. It is acceptable to meet in someone's home if the accommodations are large enough to set up several long craft tables.

A pot-luck dinner and snacks should be on hand...and lot's of caffeine!
